As part of SONEDCO’s environment awareness, employees had their tree planting last April 24, 2006 planting at about 200 mahogany seedlings.

URC SONEDCO Participates Kabankalan City 10th Charter Day Celebration
 August 2 was declared as non-working day for the  City of Kabankalan Negros Occidental. To celebrate  the occasion, URC-SONEDCO employees and  Department managers participated the parade.

URC SONEDCO Refinery Commissioning
The Refinery started commissioning last June 14, 2007. At around 10:00am, raw sugar reclaim started. The mode of operation is manual and the entire operation started from June 14, 2007 and ended on August 14, 2007.
